Teacher Academy

The Floyd County Schools College and Career Academy offers the Teaching as a Profession pathway. If you are interested in becoming a teacher, coach, counselor, administrator, librarian, speech pathologist, etc. then this pathway would be a great fit for you! This is a great opportunity for students to learn about the teaching profession. They will explore learning styles, teaching styles, philosophies of education, history of education, how to read standards and write lesson plans, and they are given the opportunity to work along side teachers at the elementary level.
